Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus
Ingredients
1 cup Vegetable Broth
1 bunch Asparagus
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp each Salt & Pepper
Olive oil
Bacon or Turkey Bacon
1 tsp chili powder
Instructions
Wash asparagus thoroughly
Chop the white ends off the
asparagus
Pour vegetable broth into a skillet (we
use cast iron) and bring to a simmer
Place asparagus in the broth, simmer
until bright green and tender
Drizzle olive oil and spices onto a
cookie sheet (we use stainless steel)
Roll the asparagus through the oil
and spices
Wrap asparagus bundles with bacon
of choice (if the asparagus are thick,
use fewer or just one in a bundle)
Place on cookie sheet, bake at 425
degrees F for 20-25 minutes (until
meat is adequately cooked)
